The Struggle

Joe:
BJ, what of the constant struggle? To make ends meet, to balance service with reward?

BJ:
What reward is it you desire?

Joe:
Financial freedom

BJ:
To do what?

Joe:
Anything

BJ:
Why?

Joe:
To be happy?

BJ:
Why are you not happy?

Joe:
I am

BJ:
Then why need money?

Joe:
I have debt

BJ:
Thats not my fault, is it! (hearty laugh)

Joe:
You got me into this! Sorry...

BJ:
Debt is but a measure of faith. Someone has faith in you and gives you money. That you can pay them back through your prosperity is a gift of service. I had so much money it never was an issue. We lost it. We gained it. In the end I did not care.
People who have money do it in their sleep. Its nothing. Its why you do it, not HOW. The how is academic. You can learn that. People who make money have secrets and lessons but they are not profound, generally
They are so simple most of us do not engage in it. First thing is to define your product and stick the hell by it until it shakes loose the foundations of everyone you meet or see. Just by them observing you.

Joe:
But its a different world now to yours, BJ?

BJ:
True, but the new way is personal conviction of silence. Let the product speak aloud. You stay out of the way because you dont need to interfere. We are nothing. However, and I emphasise this, you must, when called, speak in no uncertain terms for the product. What is the Dalai Lama selling? Why do you listen to him?

Joe:
He represents an.....alternative to the misery?

BJ:
Precisely. So do you. More on money next time. I get tired since I gave up those cigars!
